The Students Program looks to offer funding opportunities for students who would otherwise not be able to attend the congress, subject to available funds. Funding will be through sponsorship by organisations, companies and individuals. The applicants will be expected to present at the congress and will submit a report on their experiences at the end of the event. There will also be opportunities for students from local universities to visit the exhibition free of charge to learn more about the Waste Management Industry and to encourage them to take up careers in waste management.
