The Student Support Programme aims to provide financial support to a limited number of post-graduate students studying waste management and or related fields who cannot raise their own funding. The selected students will be required to present an abstract at the conference as well as submit a post-attendance report.
The Student Support Programme applications will close on 17 June 2024. As the available funding is limited, the applications will go through a rigorous assessment process to select the most deserving applicants. Please ensure you review all requirements below prior to applying.
There is also the opportunity for local students to be volunteers at the conference. This programme can be accessed here.
We encourage you to approach other Organisations who offer Support Programmes prior to applying for assistance from the Student Support Programme as we believe the demand will far exceed funds available. Because there will be limited funding opportunities, students studying in Low & Middle-Income Countries as defined by the World Bank will be given priority.
