Attention should be given to the use of solid waste management technologies and principles.
Product abstracts, or abstracts that clearly advertise a vendor’s solution, will be rejected.
To Submit an Abstract:
- Create account: Create a log in account by following the abstract submission link.
- Log in: Log into the system by entering your email address and password.
- Add abstract: Go to ‘My abstracts’ in the menu and click on the ‘Add abstract’ button
- Submit your 300-word abstract in the block for review: Once you are satisfied with your abstract, you need to submit it to the reviewers by clicking on the ‘Submit for review’ button.

Copyrite Policy
Kindly note to be published in the WM&R Congress Special Issue you must have submitted your abstract to the congress for review.
Resubmitting a WM&R paper irrespective of whether it was published in an ordinary or in a (congress) special issue in other journals is not permissible. Please see SAGE`s policy on that: https://us.sagepub.com/en-us/nam/journals-permissions
There is no other restriction whatsoever for paper submission to any journal for papers that are based on abstracts that are submitted for the ISWA annual congress.
